As much as I love sanding, I committed to repainting the tub after I pulled the interior. I polished the shifter and clear-coated it. The head is back from the machinist, and I've got lots more work to do.

By the way, I have a case of 10W-30 Amsoil racing oil I can't use. Don't drink and shop online. You can forget you already ordered a bunch of Motul.

$125 shipped to anyone who wants it.

So basically you were bored. So did you polish your knob? ...the shifter knob.

I got the car back from Blackbird Fabworx and had to get the cage painted before the rain created too much oxidation. Coming along, little by little.

I'm convinced that the Spec Miata fields in NASA SoCal are growing because we are striving to drive respectfully. Things happen on track, as they always will, but racing is better when there is good will and a healthy measure of camaraderie. Racing with friends.

Like I always tell our group. This **** is too expensive to be spending weekends with people you don't like.

They're outstanding. As you can see, I only need to use two collars to keep the belts in place. The whole seat installation is excellent, just like my last car.
