"pro" is always thrown around loosely..

it was a couple of GT3 drivers, deiter, mickey who owns the track, and mark who runs the bike school at the track.

Evo forums lack the civility we take for granted here. Or was it Corvette forums?

Please refer to him as The Sheriff. Come on, have a little disrespect around here. We have an image and culture to uphold.

I am going to buy a blue shirt and enroll in the Jeff "Trash Talking" Tyler School of Paddock Rapport 101.

Anyway the rest of you guys were a good group of people. My plan for this event was the fastest driver get to take my Yellow race Evo aka Bumblebee out for 5 laps, but that end up not happening due to some engine issues we had on Monday morning.

Emilio got a lot of respect from me at the end of the day, not because he's the fastest guy, but he's humble. Basically he lets his driving do the talking. So hats off to you Emilio

Im dead tire from the track, we were there testing our Race evo saturday, sunday and monday morning. I will do another thread full with pix and video.

    See you guys around

BTW my business name has been change. It's no longer MFQ Motorsports. It's now C-Spec Tuning and we are Mitsubishi Lancer evolution specialist shop....

    ....Charlie

Here's a little teaser pix lol.
    Charles driving the Z06
Are you talking about me? I was wearing a blue LA Dodgers t-shirt. Are you the photog/Evo tuner guy who kept saying that the Evo was unsafe to drive, the brakes/tires were dangerous, "I do this for a living and I know what I'm talking about", blah blah blah etc? I don't remember having much of a conversation with you, other than when I walked over to your group with Emilio to offer my $.02 about the safety condition of the Evo because someone over there was talking about stopping the event. You were insisting that the Evo was unfit to drive, that there was no way the Pro guys could be going slower than Emilio, Charles, & myself, going off about how you do this for a living, etc etc. When we came over there, I pretty much let Emilio do the talking. If I am the guy you're thinking of, what did I do/say that was so offensive? I don't recall having more than one or two direct words with you, if any. But if I did say something offensive to you, I'll openly apologize for it right here.

Anyway great photo there, thanks for posting that and it would be great to see more if you have them.

    Jeff

I'm really sorry I couldn't make it out for this event. It sounds like it was a blast. I wouldn't have been the fastest guy, but it would have been so much fun anyway.

The Magazine/track guys have been very gracious in defeat. I think this was a great promotion for Chuckwalla Valley Raceway. They got about 10 of the busiest track hounds in SoCal to come out to their track and generate a lot of buzz about it here.

Sounds like a win-win to me.
