Damn, I'd buy this if I had the cash. GLWS Emilio!

That's tempting....I've been looking to get an S2 for a while now. My only problem is I haven't decided if I want to go with the AP2 or the AP1. I'm still on the fence. I've owned an AP1, but just don't know.

AP2 easier to drive fast out of the box, but duller. AP1 gearing much better for track use. 03 was first year of banjo bolt fix for oil squirters. I also have an AEM EMS with a Church tuned for stock engine I'd throw in for $700. The ECU is tuned for race exhaust, not the stock exhaust that's on it. AP1 easier to swap ECU's into.

Chris, you should pick this car up. It's a good deal for a low mileage MY03, which is the best year of AP1's. The AP1 vs AP2 debate will never be settled, but Emilio is right, an AP1 is more fun to drive.

I paid $12,300 for a bone stock '03 AP1 with 59,900 miles in nice condition about 2 years ago. So if the lower miles and all the mods Emilio has on his car are worth $2,200 (offset by the fact that the car is 2 years older now), then it's a good deal.

Any idea on how much that tear would cost to fix?
                      How can I do?

There's some rubbery stuff you can use that dries and makes a water tight seal. It doesn't look perfect, but so what?

Shouldn't the AP2 rear sway bar that Emillio installed reduce the AP1's tendency to oversteer?
