  • 1994 Miata Track/Race (superMiata ready)

I am selling my '94 Miata TTD car. It is now built to SuperMiata S2 specs, will just need a retune to meet the power limit. I have just bought a new race car and need the room!
I also would like to sell my Trailex CT-7031 all aluminum trailer with the car, but will it does not have to go with it. But I won't sell it before the car sells.
I was going to run PTD this year, and that's why all of the recent upgrades and changes, but my plans changed.
I have put a TON of time in this car, lots of hand fabricated parts and attention to detail. If you are thinking about a SuperMiata, you have to see it. below are the things I have done to it. the car has only seen track days (HPDE) and time trials with NASA Rocky Mountain. It does not yet have a log book, but meets all the requirements to be issued one. The chassis has 113k miles on it and I have not done anything structurally that would eliminate it from being a SpecMiata, but the other changes needed would not be cost effective.

That's a pretty badass car and a great deal. I will post it to the race series Facebook page.

Aside from their cost I never understood why people race them.
But obviously I just dont get it. -fatbillybob

Thanks Emilio, it means a lot. It was built with your help and knowledge, it is the best in the business!
If we had a strong SuperMiata potential Here in Denver, it would probably not be for sale. But I decided to go full "Race Car" and get a Radical SR1.

      I have received a couple of PMs about the trailer, so I attached a few photos;
Its a 1991 base trailer, no tire rack, stone guard or winch. It does have ramps, electric brakes on all wheels. I rewired it when I got it in Sept-2013. I also fully serviced the axles & bearings; replaced the wheels and tires; added the brakes to the back axle and added a "break away" battery. The tires have been covered while not in use, so they are in good condition.

WRL just launched its innagural Supermiata season and will hold 5-6 events this year. Possibly not High Plains Raceway this year though. 2018 will be the full schedule. Too little, too late but it is coming to a track near you.

Aside from their cost I never understood why people race them.

I'll gladly second the compliments on this car. I saw it and met Graeme at High Plains Raceway (great track, by the way) and this car is screwed together admirably well.

Yes, it is a white NA and I am biased, but this is the used racecar you hope to find. Fastidious attention to detail, well thought out and neat as a pin.

I'm really hoping someone in SPM here buys it. I want more clean builds like this in the series. Plus I want the trailer..

Just to answer a question about location, the car and I are just east of Golden, I could almost throw a rock and hit the Coors brewery

As for FaceBook, I just can't bring myself to do it. The reasons could be a subject of a stand alone thread!

That statement and the quality of this build are telling. Chapeau.

The price does include "OBO", so if your interested, throw me an offer.

The MXL2 will be coming out soon to go into my other car, but I will have a MXL Strada dash to replace it with, but it doesn't have GPS, only a optical lap sensor.

Well the car (and trailer) is sold and headed to California to be part of the SuperMiata series.

Thanks to everyone that commented and looked.
