  • The Crown Vic is Back!

Had a blast with Rob Burgoon on the big track at Willow Springs in my Crown Vic on Wednesday! Lap times were impressive.. fastest recorded lap was 1:35.91 with an average speed of 92.3 mph and a maximum speed of 132.9 mph.. Thanks again Rob!

Looks like you've been developing the car quite a bit.

That is an impressive lap time for a car that size.

Do you know what it weighs and what kind of power it's making?

I don't know for sure but I would guess it weighs about 4000 lbs. and makes about 325 horsepower.. those lap times were with me riding shotgun and with a spongy brake pedal..

Damn, I find it hard to turn a 1:35 at WSIR sitting in the driver seat and you can do it from the passenger side. Even with long legs I bet the brake pedal is going to feel spongy.

Aside from their cost I never understood why people race them.
But obviously I just dont get it. -fatbillybob

My bad? I'm uploading video now and it appears that I may have gotten erroneous information from my Lap Timer..

I'm not sure where those numbers came from in Harry's Lap Timer, but whatever, here it is.
