That's cool. I'm not working at the mall anymore. I'm doing accounting in Downtown now. So when's your next track day?

Hey everyone, I just joined and wanted to say hi. My name's Gian and I drive an 06 Lancer Evo MR/SE. I've only been to SOW CCW once, but have been wanting to go again more recently. Hopefully I'll meet some of you at the track in the near future, thanks for reading. Here's some pictures,

                newbie

Aaron K. or as he's known here, imager993 drug me into this mess. To be honest I really don't know what I'm getting into, but to be even more honest, that's the attraction.

Here's hoping I have fun and don't blow up my car...it's the only one I have, and i love it (Black/Black '04 GTI VR6).

Oh and my name is Aaron A.

Hi, my name is Mark, I was refered here from ClubRSX by DOHCtor (unsure his user name @ trackHQ).

Located in Calgary, AB Canada, I'm currently 19 years old and I've been racing with the CSCC (Calgary Sports Car Club, affiliated with ASN FIA) for a few years now mainly autocross and winter autocross (Rallycross).
I've done a couple TSD Rally events and some lapping days.

In the past few years I've been to several regional and national autocross events and done not as well as I liked but I believe I'm improving.

I was going to start doing Solo-1 this year but unfortunately I didn't make it onto the list as there was too many applicants. I hope I can start stage rallying this year because I purchased a rally car last year.

My autocross/track car is a 2004 Acura RSX.
My rally car is a 1989 Suzuki Swift GTi.

Currently still a student taking Marketing @ a post-secondary institution. I have a couple years left but I might just get a diploma instead of a degree and end up going into automotive engineering.

Last but not least.. my parents don't like racing.

I know Calgary, my ex back in few years ago went to school there and we drove up to Banff for hot springs... I remember one time I went drifting around with her Caravan in some parking lot and got stuck in the snow bank, we ended up calling a tow truck and had to wait for 2 hours for it to come drag us out. Not to mention that was a Valentine's Day and we totally missed our dinner date.
Anyway, welcome on board. And dont worry, when I was 19, my parents didnt like motorsports either. 5 years later today, they finally are being supportive...it just takes time...
