      You do realize that the show aired on NBC Sports and was produced by Speedcast Productions. Just checking.

      Does your connection at Speed have anything to do with hiring camera operators?

        Old school video pirates used to sneak movie cameras into theaters. You could use a tripod in your TV room. The resolution will not be good, but it could be good enough for beer and pretzels

              Unfortunately filming the screen. If someone knows how to export from a DirecTV DVR, I'm happy to make a copy that way.

                The DVR has analog A/V out. Many camcorders have analog A/V in. Once it's in the camcorder you can capture it to your computer. You can also capture directly to the computer with many camcorders.
