I see it now John. Thanks!
I've seen in-car of people going straight down the strip before and thought the normal (dog leg left along the wall) looked more fun. However, after driving the straight version.... I like it better, if only because the braking zone is so much smoother. The big bump on the normal straight into 7 is damn near rite where my braking zone starts in the Cup and it's annoying. The turn is really sharp though, it's the first time I've ever been full-lock in a Porsche Cup (outside of the paddock).

I have a hard enough time rotating my vette around the double apex. I think the drag strip would force me into a 3 point turn!

Yowza! Must not let a GTS3 car turn faster laps than my ST2 car... Congrats Tony, that is impressive!

I did, but he's getting too close for comfort LOL. I need to find a 1:41 later this year with more aggressive braking. It's hard to push myself when I'm the only ST2 car there.

Thanks Bill! The data says if I can figure out how to be consistent there is a mid :43, I can't wait until next year and we have a motor that makes the same power for several thousand rpm not a 100rpm peak. I am thinking 42's next year :-)

Same here. Our engine is down 12whp peak and does not have a nice PT style flat powerband at all. New motor that addresses that wasn't ready in time for this event unfortunately. With this new motor we'll in have for Buttonwillow Oct 13, I think we'll also pick up 1.5s here at Infineon. I'm thinking high 1:46's at Infineon in cool weather with it.

Anyway Brett, we lowered our best lap by .7s here so please revise. Just missed bumping Oli by a few thousandths, drat!

    Brett,

Can you add this time and remove my other 2 posted times for Infineon.

Had some brake issues and finally realized I had a warped hub. Had to call it quits on Saturday, but took .5 secs off.

I better get back there and go faster before my manhood is embarrassed by a Miata.

Well I'll be damned, you're right. I pulled the wrong lap. That was a 1:50.809 according to mylaps. This is the correct 1:48.972 video, two laps later.

Not bad given my best lap in March on Saturday (when I got my rookie book) was a 2:17.xxx, Sunday was a 2:14.xxx, June was a 1:59.269. Hello, rookie!
