    2006 Porsche 997 Carerra Coupe 6-MT - daily driver
1992 Honda (Acura) NSX 5-MT - classic investment I couldn't resist and occasionally drive
    2004 Honda S2000 AP2 6-MT - track day car
2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR 6-MT - when I need a backseat, 4-doors, or a real trunk, and still want to haul ass . . .

It also depends on the car, 18 CCW has such long straights that cars like Oli's can make up a ton of time, that 3/4 mile back straight takes half an hour in my car and so there's about 13.5+ secs difference in our lap times.
Comparing with 13 CW where there's less straight, our lap times are less than 12 secs apart.

yeah makes sense, a lower power car is prolly close to or hitting V max on the long straights while a more powerful car is still accelrating at a good pace

I won't be surprised to find out that there's a 40+ MPH difference at the end of that super long straight between my car and Oli's vette, I was at 118-119 before entring riverside with a tiny lift.
    What did you see, Oli?

Thanks! I got this time on my first lap out usually my second or third lap is my fast lap, but I caught traffic as soon as I started the second lap. I weaved my way through the traffic and on the third lap when I was coming through the Sweeper with a clear track in front of me and getting the truck (and myself!) all wound up again my low oil pressure light just blinked on momentarily. I looked down and I had 30 psi in it - then it went right back up to 80. And then the engine threw a rod on the front straightaway. I have a dry sump system in the truck, but I've always had issues with it puking oil out when the system is full, so I've had to run it a couple of quarts less than ideal. It was never an issue before I added the aero to the truck. I'll going to redesign the oil system before I go back out...

As I recall from my data I am hitting 141-142 going into Riverside. From Riverside to Cotton Corners I am hitting about the same speed.

Hmm, maybe I was thinking about Rob's corvette touching the high 150's, he's at ST1 power level, right?

Here is my in-car video with data overlay. This was not my fastest lap. I did not have my camera running later in the day when I was running a couple seconds faster. I hit 142 going into Riverside. I would assume I am going one or two MPH faster with a two second faster lap time. So I am maybe hitting 144. That puts me about 25 MPH faster than you on corner entry.

yeah so cars with more power are definatly going to have a bigger gap time wise on CCW #18 compaired to their CW #13 pace

25 MPH faster before braking, where your minimum speed drops to 94 MPH when turning-in.
My peak speed is 118-119 MPH and then tiny lift just to shift the weight to the front and get the front tires to bite, with a turn in speed of 113 MPH, nearly 20 MPH faster than you.
I did make an attempt to go into riverside at the full throttle without lifting, found that the lack of weight transfer made the car push straight to the top of the banking where I had to work hard to keep it on the track at all and ended up going slower..

I bet our minimum speeds are not that far off, certainly not 20 MPH. Later in the day when I got off my corded tires the car was vastly faster, over 100 MPH minimum speed for sure in that corner. In the same turn the same direction the week before I was watching Jim Tway's in-car video and he slowest point in that turn was 106 MPH.

I have still not downloaded my Solo data, yet. I should have that for the last session where I posted the 1:50.7.

What are you using for data acquisition?

I don't doubt it, I thought it was surprising that the minimum speed was that low in the video, my customer with Evo was reporting 106-107 at riverside and you guys were running roughly the same lap times and similar top speeds, I'm sure you were running at least as fast.
No data acq sys in my car yet, taking a glance at the speedo every now and again

yesterday gave us a good perspective on what to improve on, by the time i ran that time it was the noon session and prolly 95 degrees out. My morning session when we wanted to run quick, their was tons of traffic, second session novak wanted to drive, so this time was my 3rd session when it was killer warm out

Cool. Im guessing this is the same car? Are the specs correct? This time you had 100whp more, 200lbs lighter, and you ran on NT01s?
