Default 2005 Lotus Elise - Supercharged, Krypton Green, $23K

    Name: Kevin
    Location: Irvine, CA 92614
    Price: $old OBO

Up for sale is my weekend car, a 2005 Lotus Elise in Krypton Green. The car has approximately 47,000 miles on it, and should stay there as I only drive the car on the weekends. The car is in excellent mechanical condition with no issues whatsoever. This car is a thrill to drive and would make for an excellent track car.

    Modifications:

    - GReddy/Katana supercharger kit installed. This kit added about 60-70 reliable horsepower at the wheels.
    - Team Dynamic wheels with Dunlop DZ102 tires installed. Tires have excellent tread life left on them.
    - Seibon carbon fiber interior panels and exterior side air scoops
    - Color matched hardtop
    - Larini exhaust

I am the second owner of the vehicle, prior to me the car was owned by an older couple. The car has been a California car all its life. No particular reason for selling, looking to move on and pass this car onto someone who will put it to good use.

Being fully transparent about the car - the car holds a rebuilt California title. The rebuilt title occurred as a result of a low-speed parking lot incident which damaged the front clam and driver headlight. The accident occurred about 1-2 years after the original owners purchased it. Due to the nature of these cars early on, the insurance company opted to file the accident as a total loss. Since then, the clam and headlight have been replaced. There is absolutely ZERO structural damage to the car as a result. During replacement of the clam, the original owner decided to change the color of the car from Saffron Yellow to Krypton Green (OEM Lotus color). The car drives 100% as it should.

Asking $old. California title in hand.

Any trouble insuring this car with a rebuilt title? Does it add to the cost of insurance?

Rebuilt title did not have an impact on getting insurance for it. I have it under comprehensive coverage at 100/300 and the rates are the similar to that of my daily driver (06 Lexus GS430).

Kevin is a personal friend of mine and the car is as described and would make a fine weekend/track car. Buy with confidence!
    Do you understand?
