Default AROSC HPDE/TT/Race school Nov 11-12 at the streets of Willow

Its that time of year again for our winter school. As always we have 3 sections for all levels of drivers, or for the drivers that want to move up to the next level. The weather should be pretty good for this school, we do run rain or shine, we hope it rains, how else would anyone get the best skills available other than in the rain. Each group will have 6 hrs per day of instruction on the track, skidpad, and the classroom.

Info for the school can be found HERE, if anyone has any questions please shoot us an email at alfaclubracing@gmail.com. Registration can be found HERE. All of our instructors are very knowledgeable and can answer all your questions.

    See you at the track

AROSC Race school is the preferred race school for any drivers seeking to run the Maxxis Supermiata Cup racing series.

Aside from their cost I never understood why people race them.
But obviously I just dont get it. -fatbillybob

I did the race school in Feb 2015 and it was a blast and a lot of fun. Great instructors students. I still owe Slaysman a fender, or at least a lunch
Unfortunately my engine expired at the end of the graduation race, my foot expired a few months after that and now, 2 1/2 years later I did only a few track days in a street cars. I pretty sure need another go at this, which I just might do.

After a couple years with virtually no seat time, come on out, get your awareness refreshed and chase Watson in his shiney new paint job. Hope your foot healed and your car is back and ready to go.

Depending on the level of ability we tend to change things up a bit.

The street performance group is filling up, the TT group has some room, the race group has lots of room. We are about a month away.

    See you at the track.

I have a friend I told needs to go to your race licensing school.

Are you doing that class this weekend, too?

We only have 2 registered in that class now. We would like to get 10 to 12 for that group, but with 2 it wont happen. The other groups have about 30 in each. So if those that are wanting to do the race school, sign up now, that portion could get cancelled at any time.

What is the difference in the drills done in the street group and the Novis TT group? Also, is a fire extinguisher really required for the novis TT group? I was planning to sign my 20 year old son up but street is closed.

    Thanks,
    Charley

Charlie, sorry so slow in replying but a surge in registrations has confused us for a few days. So . .
We have reopened Street Performance by adding a second group. Fire extinguishers are required for Time Trial.
Unfortunately Race Group suffered from almost no signups and had to be closed. Those Racers got a chance to step down into Advanced Time Trial.
Sign up and list all of his track experience, go cart, etc. The added group has the more experience beginners as well as the faster cars.
A group of 10 signed up for Street Performance and one of our old Instructors signed up her 2 sons. What a problem to have: Lots of students, with $$$.
There is little difference in our course outline for Street Performance and Time Trial.
Hope to see your son on Saturday morning.

All classes are maxed out busting out the seams now. Paul is correct, no race group this time around, 2 just wont cut the mustard. Like paul said we have broken the Street Performance group into to classes, those with verifiable experience and the second group are the highly qualified canyon racers.

The TT group consists a mixed experience so we will have our hands full, but a god kind of full.

Hope to see you all at the track.
