    More data:

Been stuck in the 30's at Streets CW for a year. Ran a 1:29.149 in Round 8 of Roadster Cup in November.

Was in the 2:08's at Buttonwillow. Running 2:06's now. Ran CCW13 for the first time in that direction. Did a 2:06.094 in Round 9 last weekend.

I ended up winning the 2016 Series for Street Class and this spoiler is what kept me in the hunt with the NB's that rounded out the podium.

What other aero pieces to you have LOL?

    Great job, Jerry!
Congrats on winning the season championship

I was telling a customer today that the spoiler is merely twisting the door handle for the rabbit hole in terms of what we can do to a car for aero.

Hardly seems worth it when this is basically only 80 bucks more than I would spend doing a total DIY and the finish is easily 5x better.

230 is a damn fine price IMO. Too bad I'm broke as hell due to my dead 6 speed. I'd be all over this in a heartbeat. Oh well... i'll have to pick one up next month when I'm not cash strapped.

Nice design work as always Moti.
$80/ 6 hours = $13.33 per hour savings- for a inferior product. I am hoping that your opportunity cost exceeds this, in which case Moti saves you money.

    Heh, that's an old post.
Erik has been running our spoiler for quite some time now, he ended up being one of the early adopters

I would buy one except I already have a 5 year old spoiler on my SuperMiata. It still good after many many races and enduro.

And it was built by Black Fab something many years ago. I like it that it is one of the kind. Not some mass produced spoiler now Moti is offering !!
    Supermiata S1, SuperMiata S2, Supermiata S3
13 Tesla, ma: no engine !!
    16 Cruze, free car !!
    08 M3 - Carmax warranty !!

    5 years?
HA, not even close... your spoiler is more like 11 years old!
Someone was asking me on another forum about the reliability of the spoilers, I used yours as an example -

    Here's a short funny story.
The first Lexan spoiler that I made for a Miata (my old track car, Blackbird) was back in 2003 or 2004 -

Blackbird Fabworx was not even a faint idea at the time, I was just doing my own aero experiments and fabricated this one on the kitchen table in my old apartment one night.
I sold it a couple years later, and then the owner sold it to someone else and I had no idea where it went.
As it turns out, the owner of the spoiler when I saw it the next time was William Chen and the Spoiler was on his 949 Racing car, Enzo -

Aaaand here is the very same spoiler, crossing the finish line at the 2011 25 Hours of Thunderhill, as the winner of E2 class (#99) -

This spoiler is still being used today on the same car.
I think it's safe to say that reliability is not an issue

I do believe a rock is less reliable. It wears down faster...

As I said before this type of device helps but not to the extent you have seen, it is NOT a 2 or even 1 second per lap device no matter the mfg/builder of the device. Until you become ninja level driver the biggest place to fine time is in your ass. I would guess you have only been tracking for a year or two so you are still developing your skills.

Nice work as a driver keep up the good work.

Jerry's experience is consistent with every other driver that bought one from us, your opinion is based on your experience with your car on a unit that you made yourself.

Just got the new batch from CNC and the new spoilers for the NA / NB are now pre-drilled for both standard and low AOA adjustment ranges!

With the addition of the new mounting holes, the spoilers are now even more adjustable than before, starting @ ~12 degrees and going all the way up to well past any angle that you'll ever use (it'll probably adjust over ~60 degrees..).
Pricing is still the same $280 plus shipping for the complete kit with detailed instructions as before, representing ever higher value than before

We made a small batch of the spoilers with tinted Lexan and hard anodized brace and hinges - we're calling it the Black edition.
It looks bitc*in' and costs $330 plus tax / shipping, limited quantity - order soon!
