    Default Two racecars for $15k

I don't know how well these cars perform, but this is a steal.

^^^ It's really one race car with a lot of spares including a rolling chassis. A guy named Naji has been racing an SE-R very successfully in ITA with SCCA CalClub for years. He usually beats all the SMs that double dip in ITA.

I was kind of surprised at the engine placement with regard to the strut towers. I bet you have to do a lot to get the push out of these cars. Has anyone driven one? Know someone who has?

I have a good friend who had service SE-R's in this body style and newer as street cars when he was leasing them. Always made for great handling FWD street cars but obviously you really aren't pushing to limits like you would at the track. They held their own in "spirited" canyon drives for fun.

As almost all cars from factory, they are setup to push before oversteering on you.

That's a smoking deal for the hardware. If the Motec ECU's are still in the cars, that's $10K by itself. I can't think of any possible use for our shop but somebody will want these. They should advertise on racingjunk.com
Probably no teams in North America interested but I could see them being valuable in another country where more racers have higher spec'd front drive race cars. Here in 'murrica, we only spend big bucks on rwd racecars.

Aside from their cost I never understood why people race them.

In most Nissans inertia is just as useful as a gas pedal, so they go for the weight savings of removing the throttle, pedal, etc.

It appears that the clutch pedal is obscured by the door bars in that pic.

maybe that black blurry thing in the back is the clutch pedal? maybe they drained the fluid for some reason and the pedal doesn't return?

Seems that Multimatic is a Honda CVT transmission from the mid 90's. (Edit: As well as the name of the Motorsports company. Which is probably where the name comes from... dunno.)

    Honda Multimatic

If so, why would you put a CVT in a racecar?

Maybe the previous owner couldn't drive stick for some reason?

They make shaker rigs and super high end dampers. British company. Also run some teams in mid level motorsports on the US side, Koni challenge or whatever it's called now. If those cars come with their dampers they might be worth way more than the cars.
