And sorry for the late reply on all of this. I've been super swamped for the past few days. I actually did plan on posting that facebook article here, but got side tracked.

Thanks so much for the positive support here on THQ. I know it's going to be an uphill battle with some of the more major players in TA. I know that RTA had some issues from the last couple of years. All I can say is that I'm sincerely sorry that happened, but I don't think RTA caused the destruction of all things good about time attack. I can't dwell on the past anyway, it's all water under the bridge. I have to start from scratch and move forward and I hope people will approach this with an open mind. This RTA will be nothing like the RTA from the past couple of years. We're a grass-roots Redline Time Attack. I hope to provide the best at that for now.

Redline Time Attack, and the concept of it, is one of the motivating forces behind my desire to track my MR2. I'll have to put it back together a bit to make "street" class ... But I am VERY happy to see it make a return.

Ive heard talk on the streets (as it were) about RTA going back to a more grassroots event like it started out. I think that would be great. Good to hear your the one doing this.
That's not a Typo, I just can't spell no so well.

So back to grass roots? No tv coverage and slutty or ugly models? Sounds like it is going to be pretty awesome. Good luck Chris!

Unless she is on standing on the apex of a corner waving her ta-ta's in your face how are they going to effect your concentration on track? In all seriousness though its my impression that most women at the track are either 1) taken (wives, gf's, etc) or 2) dumb (spokes models, trashy women from wv, etc) so I tend to disregard skimpy outfits at the track in general.

I'd rather drive with titties in the paddock and lose a few tenths than focus on getting a fast lap with no chance of titties.
    Do you understand?

I would never miss a corner worker if they had their titties out.
I'd even be willing to pay a little extra for that as long as they looked better than the speed ventures corner crew.

Phew, I'd be willing to pay a little extra for a corner worker / grid crew that just have all of their teeth.

Change the word "titties" to "pussy" and I'd agree . . .

The answer is beer, sex and crashes, especially crashes. NASCAR formula.

and tracks closer to civilization. Grassroots events don't draw crowds. And watching time attacks is...well...boring. What spectator at willow springs can tell the difference between a 1:25 lap and a 1:22? Get the car count up, build a loyal following, and focus on hosting good events. the rest will follow if the market will bear it. These are all things that Chris has done in the past. Let the attendees hype the events.
