Put a more conventional B pillar on it, paint it all one color and you'd have something.

This. Nothing in this thread looked good to me, but the photoshopped IDx below I just saw looks pretty damn cool. It's really rough around the edges, but it could have potential. Knowing Nissan, however, the production version will probably be terrible like the majority of its recent fleet.

Some concept cars are a "here's how a car that's coming will vaguely look like" and some concept cars better thought of as an art project.

This car is the second category, but as an art project, I think it is a successful one.

I kinda like it. It reminds me of the early Celica coupe.

There were more cool cars available in 1991 than there are today - at least that's how I remember it. I'm happy to see any smallish, affordable, rwd cars even if concepts. We need more cars like these at dealerships, even if they aren't exactly pretty.

^^^There were more cool cars in 2006 too. It's been all downhill since then.

    2006 Porsche 997 Carerra Coupe 6-MT - daily driver
1992 Honda (Acura) NSX 5-MT - classic investment I couldn't resist and occasionally drive
2004 Honda S2000 AP2 6-MT - my last track day car (FOR SALE or not, depending on how I feel when I fall out of bed tomorrow morning)
2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR 6-MT - when I need a backseat, 4-doors, or a real trunk, and still want to haul ass . . .
