LOL Perez was so pissed when BBC interviewed him right after the incident. I'm not sure, but i think he accidentally slip in the F word on live TV, could be his accent though. it was funny. And he claims the entire field of F1 drivers are concern about Mal's aggressive driving at the driver's meetings.

i agree. This was similar with his incident with hamilton going into the first chicane at Valencia last week but switched position. Perez in Mal's position and Mal is in hamilton's position this time around. It is just a racing incident. And if anything, its more of Perez's fault for not making sure it will be a safe pass.

Maldonaldo can't keep punting drivers and expect to keep his seat, all the sponsors in the world couldn't keep him in a car if he doesn't produce.

But he does produce, just a few races ago he was standing at the top of the podium, something that no other Williams driver did in a l-o-n-g time.

wasn't long ago that hamilton was being criticized for being bull headed and causing accidents. how many races in a row did he exit last season because of this? a couple at least. Drivers shouldnt spout off without seeing the footage. reporters prey on that. same thing happened with Sebastian Bourday (sp?) in the Indy car race.

i'm not excusing mal, but he is entertaining to watch - which is more than can be said for most of the mid packers...

You guys do know Willliams want Hamilton.

Hamilton sees himself as a modern Senna, would not be surprised if he went to Williams at the end of the season.

Vettle's pass on Alonzo at the same corner showed a lot more class.

All these guys are freaky talented, and Maldonado is really starting to stand out, but greatness will require talent and class.

    Anyway, this just in.

Never heard of a mid-pack team that didn't want a world champ taking a seat in one of their cars ...

Watch the video. Perez is outside, not squeezing him, then the bad duck lost traction and slid over into Perez. Didn't hit curbs or anything.

I thought the incident with Hamilton was more defensible than this week's. This week, there was a lot of room for both drivers and we saw drivers going side by side through that area all day. By contrast, I thought Hamilton got too greedy last week, particularly since he was a sitting duck.

But I don't race in real life.

a lot of drivers went side by side on the same corner. but none lost control like Maldonado did.. Maldonado either broke too late or didn't slow down enough for holding the line.
this wasn't even on track out, Maldonado should be holding the inside.
