Default A few images from PRI Show in Indy

The show was pretty crowded this year. Lotos of cool stuff on display as always, including two C7 Corvettes, the new Mustang and the Porsche 991 GT3 Cup Car.

But first, I stumbled this woman wearing an interesting T-shirt, all the way from Ohio. Turns out she is now heading up NASA Great Lakes autocross region.

I saw that, too. It looks like the cage pedestal doubles as the upper mounting point for the rear strut.

It doesn't show the interior, but I assume it has flappy paddles like the street version, and no stick or clutch pedal . . .

Nice on the t-shirt at Indy.

Aside from their cost I never understood why people race them.
But obviously I just dont get it. -fatbillybob

Anyone know why these Porsche factory race cars never come with nascar door bars? they seem to be safer than the traditional X bars

    Porsche doesn't do a traditional X door bars, it's a pyramid X.
Both pyramid X and NASCAR bar have their advantages and disadvantages, especially when you look at each application individually.
Short answer, don't assume that NASCAR bars are always safer.
