Apparently spinning wheels in the pits is a big no-no: 3 min penalty for Dampsey racing. Did anyone catch who was the driver?

It wasn't Patrick Long but he served the penalty. I think it was Joe Foster because Dempsey was back in after Long.

Words cannot describe the amount of good vibes I'm mentally sending to the #20 Porsche to both stay on that podium and ideally run down that Audi. Go Webber go!

Webber running second, and Bruni just got Senna for the lead in GTE Pro.
    This is good.

    Your counter-fu is strong Bryan.

Just woke up to check the results, sleep took over around 3am for me.. sad to see Porsche drop out of the battle. 20 min turbo swaps FTW indeed - last I saw, the Audi chasing down the Porsche in P1 had spent twice as much time in the pits as the leader. Impressive once again Audi.

Anyone now where I can get the timing data from the race? I did a quick google, then thought someone might already know where to get it.

Bummer the C7Rs didn't win, but I'm glad they got on the podium. Congratulations to the Audi juggernaut and to Porsche for good showing on its return to LeMans.

Yeah, bummer indeed about the C7R's. Was wondering why kept going to the back to change the belts (alternator? at least according to the announcers) but then I remembered this motoIQ article: Nerd
