    Default I Bought William's 997 !!!

What it says. Pictures to follow.

Edit - having trouble posting pics - here is a linky to William's for sale thread with pics - yes, it looks like that . . .

    FS: 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera

Here are some pics I took with my iPhone at dusk and emailed to myself. I have no idea why they came out in black and white -- maybe because I had to email small versions due to file size?

Congratulations, Richard. You'll really enjoy that car. I tried to talk my wife into it. Thank God she talked some sense into me.

More importantly, can you adopt me so I can borrow it?

Congrats Richard! I made the jump to a 997 C2S a few years back and haven't looked back since. Enjoy the feel of the controls, the linear power band, the practicality, and the sense of accomplishment at taming that rear engine beast.

Tell you what, if it's OK with William, he or I will tell you. I'm happy with the deal, and the car checked out well with a Porsche mechanic.

BTW, I took some pics on my iPhone and tried to email them to myself so I could post them here, but they never came to my email. Any ideas why not?

Thanks. Mine is a 997 C2 (not S) Coupe 6-MT. I usually like to get any model of car with the most powerful engine, but the 997 doesn't feel underpowered at 325 bhp.

I wanted it too but am kinda glad you spared me from spending the money. William was willing to let it go for a great price. Enjoy the car Richard! It certainly is a very nice example of a 997!

Congrats to William as well =]

    Great choice.

I've only driven them on the track, but I really like they way they handle.

I posted some iPhone pics on the first post of this thread, but they came out in black & white for reasons I don't understand.
