Default Removable roll cage section - OGK 2.0?

Was reading through and saw a post about Emilio’s OGK 2.0 and a removable roll portion for dual street/track use. Trying to find out more - anyone have a link to something that explains or shows pics? Thanks.

The company that made them was Ballistic Fabrication but I can't find the connectors on their site. I've had these in my mind for years for a project, hopefully they still exist.

Btw, welcome to Trackhq. Don't forget to introduce yourself in the introduction thread.

Bolt in sections are nothing special. Any good cage builder can do it. I bet Moti can do it. You can source terminal pieces to weld into your tubing and then bolt accordingly.

Easy to find in the offroad racing world. Here's an example: https://www.kartek.com/parts-categor...onnectors.html

They're heavy (solid chromoly), so use minimally for a race car. Consult with your cage builder, they (should) understand what locations/applications are appropriate for a removable section and what is a no-no.

Ok thanks, was hoping to see a pic of Emilio’s car as well. And yes I can introduce myself in that thread.
