Default ZR1 vs. New Viper + New production car record at Laguna Seca w/Randy Pobst

I really enjoyed this video and was blown away by the STOCK ZR1 and that 1:33...I think some people here may as well.

Synopsis for Richard and those with ADD: Vette eats Viper alive by a brutal 2 seconds per lap @ LS, is commented as more approachable, easier to drive at the limit, more comfortable and refined and has better brakes. Viper is twitchy, has quick brake fade, has really tall gearing and a more narrow powerband. Also from the video the Vette seems to sound much better.

Skip to 8:20 to see the proper driving and a new production car record at LS.

The C6 still has some life in it.
If nothing happens and there is no one around why did it not happen?

Only thing mentioned on tires was that the ZR1 is on Cup tires

Same but not for the love of the cars, the host guy irrates me for some reason. I just want to punch him thru the computer.
I cant take his OMG "pweeformace fast!!" talk when the scenery in the background is slow as constipated runny poo.

And where the hell is Randy Pobst, him I like!
