On the street, you hold the steering wheel at 9 & 3 as if you were on the track, and are prepared to make quick oversteer corrections or emergency maneuvers.

You actually really like the smell of hot brakes and racing fuel.

^^^ No amount of boring pain reading about nuts and bolts makes you a racer. It just makes you a nerd.

    Before enduro start:

    3 hours before:
not eating spicy food, no matter how much you love it. nothing that upsets stomach.

    1 hour before:
even thought you are thirsty, stop drinking...

    10 minutes before:
even though you are thirsty and hasn't drank in many hours. you still go to bath room - trying to pee every last drop.

    during the race:
if you really can't hold it. you still don't come in.

    next stint:
2nd stint driver jumping in even though seat is wet....

Eeewwww!!! Although your post about having to pee really bad during your first (?) enduro was absolutely hilarious.

The car(s) that were right behind your truck and trailer on the interstate are now about 40 car lengths back after a few twists and turns.

That's not when you know you're a racer. That's when you know you need to start wearing Depends and taking Flomax.

No black flag on alcohol and sex the day/night prior?

Phuck, drink and smoke cigars before your track day. Why would you stop having fun so that you can go have fun?

Depends for endurance racing. You could be onto something.

I've heard some team does just that.
I just stop taking in fluid.

It's probably best to stop fluid intake. Peeing would just be one more thing to do on straightaways.

You might be an older racer if you feel the need to begin hydrating 5 days before a track day.
Years ago after a night of binge drinking at the Essex House, relief was a gross burp first session on the back straight.
Late nights at the dance bar next to the Lancaster Inn was another way to pass the time.
Now days itís just more water and carb up with a big pasta meal the night before.

Dehydration can be quite serious. I have been told that some of the more dedicated Baja guys use a catheter, but how knows. Lots of very questionable representations below:

^^^ I'd rather pizz all over myself and the car than be catheterized. It's awful, followed by a week of infected pee pee after it's removed, and it's hell to pizz that entire time.

What about using Lasix about 1 & 1/2 hours before the race? It makes you pizz like a race horse, and you'd have no water left in your lower tract if you timed it right, but the body would still be hydrated.

If this is from personal experience, it could be because you're too cheap to use a new catheter. There are some things you just shouldn't share.
