I got pulled over the other day because the officer thought i took a corner too quickly. I asked if i was speeding, and he said no, and i asked what i had done wrong. he replied with, i thought your car was going to skid out and crash. (I was stunned, because i was wasn't driving erratically or anything, i was just going home and this was turning into my neighborhood, i was truly wondering why i had been pulled over). He told me to slow it down, and let me go. Do figure. LOL.

For me, i try to brake as little as possible. I pretend my daily commute is a momentum race, and try to pass cars without slowing my pace, and without going over 70.

You look at other petrol heads who modify their cars but don't track it, as lesser inexperienced individuals.

You're afraid of sitting as a passenger in a car controlled by a driver who does not track. You volunteer to drive instead.

You think you're better than 99.9% of everybody else out there on the public roads because you think you can drive better than they can.

Everytime you change lanes in front of someone on the freeway who you think you are way ahead of, they flash their brights at you because they think you cut the lane change extremely close to them.

you meet some guy at dinner and he strats talking about how cool his Ferrari is, to your girl. So you tell him "if you would like to learn how to drive that thing. Give me a call, I can teach you"

You think owning 7 cars at the same time is not enough.

Whenever you drive in snow/ice, the first thing you do is test the steering and braking to get an idea of the traction. Your passengers freak out when the car slides a little and don't understand why you're so interested in establishing the car's turning and stopping potential

hahaha all good ones so far.

When you are grocery shopping with a shopping kart, you take the racing line and make sure you hit all your braking, turn in, apex, exit points.
When you go grocery shopping with a shopping kart and you lift the back wheels and drift the turn hitting your turn in, apex, exit points like a D1 drifter.
You draft behind cars on the freeway then swing out quickly out of the slipstream so you can pull ahead of them for the pass.
When you take a connecting freeway 3 lanes wide that says 45mph at 70mph and make a pass on the outside.
When you take a connecting freeway and everyone brakes because its a 45mph turn and you keep increasing your speed to 70+mph.
When you heel toe from 5th gear to 2nd gear at an off ramp stoplight.
When you have over 4 sets of tires for the same car.
When your car slowly becomes louder, lighter, faster, stiffer, nimbler, noisier, and harder to get into and out of.
When you take a left turn and if no one is next to you or will be next to you, you take the racing line and track out.
When you are at a traffic light, you pretend you are in a F1 race and use the green cue as practice for a standing start.
When people pace and rev at you wanting a race while you drive normally, you just laugh and shake your head and keep driving normally.
When someone changes lane right in front of you, you quickly change lanes to take their spot in an attempt to gain a position.
When you watch your own track videos more than 2-3 times a week.
When you watch your own track videos and make notes.
When you watch your own track videos a few times before you head out to the track.

I am greatly displeased when I grab the controls of a shopping cart and find that it has rear wheel steering. Eww and complicated.

When you realize the only people in your address book you never raced with are your family members.
