    Southern California Store Burglarized

    We're sad to announce that the WRR store in Fountain Valley, CA was burglarized last night.

    Below are some details and photos of the suspects in the hopes you can help us locate the culprits:

    * Break-in occurred at 3:35am
    * 2 suspects
    * Green Honda Civic was left in parking lot the same night after all wheels were removed
    * Stole our Silver Dodge Ram w/ WRR windshield banner on front windshield
    * Stole all manner of other equipment including helmets, suits, gloves, head and neck restraints, data acquisition items, nomex underwear, steering wheels & quick-disconnects, Longacre gauges (tpg’s, pyrometers, etc.), GoPro cameras, and more.

    If anyone recognizes the suspects or hears of someone selling racing gear, please contact:

    For the record, this happened before I made my comment in the stolen SM thread I just hadn't heard about it. I didn't jinx anything . . . yet.

    Not sure how lucky esp with the LBGP comi. They only recovered the bones of the motor coach according to the article:

    "We've recovered their motor coach, unfortunately it was stripped. Their trailer, unfortunately all the McLaren and Porsche parts were taken," Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said.

    Those parts are what Sofronas is most frustrated about. They belong to his McLaren 570 GT4 race car, which is only one of about half a dozen in the U.S.

    The expensive and extremely rare parts are causing headaches for the whole team as they prepare to have two cars race in this weekend's Long Beach Grand Prix. What is even worse is that they held an open house the day before the break-in.
