What are the plans for this car? You don't seem like the type of person who would buy this to daily.

Heck, I might as well throw in with my new Chevy (okay, well, it's a GMC, but let's not be picky)

'07 Yukon Denali. It's got very light hail damage (kinda like if Oli's gold chains had been dropped on it) so it was too good a deal for me to pass up. Besides, here in Wyoming we get that white stuff that's NOT cocaine.

I would love something like this, but with a new style Diesel engine and Allison tranny.

    Non-racing fun.

Occasional commuting, 2-3 track days a year, occasional autocross, Cars n Coffee, maybe a Vette owners club thing or whatever they do. Only 7700 miles on it. I could put say, 5-6K a year on it for 5 years and still be under 40K. Sell it for maybe 10k less than I paid or maybe just keep it. Dunno. Not a bad highway car actually. I could see doing a mid length road trip in it. Seriously need to cut about 2" of foam out of the seat cushion though.

Edit: Cool thing about being old. Insurance is cheap!

Edit #2: Emilio wants to race Flink

William, as a friend, I admit that opening this thread and seeing the first message got me worried about you.
Seeing Emilio saying that yours is more high tech got me thinking that you might have bought a ZR1 and this got me worried - how will you grow enough chest hair to drive it?
Emilio can probably stop shaving his chest to get some hair back and just shave it before races, but with you, being asian and all, you know, this might be a problem.
I was relieved to find out that you got a vagina-man car instead and you won't need to start using Rogain or the Bosley system for your chest... I dunno, it just doesn't sound like a good way to spend your time and money.

Lol, congrats to all you new GM owners.

We both bought our Chevy within 24 hours, but neither knew the other bought one.
    I wanted a daily. I have 3 2-seaters, don't work when I need to pick up kids.

I like the Volt, so far I've put 250 miles, zero fuel used.

because 6th gear is geared to something ridiculous like over 300 mph at redline. Have you deactivated the skip shift yet?

Yep. Dunno how to get it to work though.

care to share an interior picture?
I don't think I ever took any. Here's a stock one. It's very flattering, using a fisheye lens.

Two people will be tripping over each other there. But it is just about the only motorhome in the universe which a) tows more than 5k (it's rated 7200lbs) and b) fits in my driveway.

    And it's faster than a Z06. (When Emilio's driving)

Skip shift disabled. 6th is something like 47mph/1000rpm.

    Emilio -

Nice find! A 5-year-old Z06 with only 7,700 miles. I'd love to have that car. There's a really nice '03 yellow (my favorite color) C5 Z06 on a used car lot near my house, but they want too much for it.

I got to drive a press vehicle Z06 for a week back in 2007. What a phenomenal car, smooth power delivery and just gawd-awful fast. It's like having a bengal tiger for a pet.

I took my then 3-year-old son for a ride in it. With him strapped into his child seat on the right-hand side, I pulled out to an open stretch of road, wound first gear up to about 3,500 rpm, then floored it through first and just into second at just more than 100 mph.

My son's next words are etched in my mind forever: "Again, dad, again."
