    Default Trackhq x Adams Private Event--June 10, Wed, 6-9pm

I have booked the date for June 10, this will be the first trackhq private event and I hope to do everything to make this event a successful one, meaning drivers will get lots of seat time, and trackhq regulars can hang out and have a good time!

    Venue: Adams Motorsport Park
    5292 24th Street, Riverside, CA 92509

    Time: Jun10, Wednesday, 6-9pm

Drivers meeting: 5:30pm, please be there by 5pm.

Run Format: Time Attack style, send out 3-5 cars at a time with 10 secs spacing in between each car, there will be flag workers. Since some of us run in similar pace, we will group you guys into 2 or 3 groups according to lap time/experience depending on headcounts. You get 1/2 warm up, 2 hot laps, and 1/2 lap cool down, then back in line, for 3 hour straight as much as you want. We can change the format according to majority interest, but no passing should be done on the track. I guarantee everyone will get lots of seat time.

    Maximum participants: 15

Instruction: I will be the instructor. I will talk about basic autocross/gymkhana style car control, techniques to attack different corners at small tracks VS big tracks. If you guys are interested, basic drift training also available. No extra charge.

Fee: $85, please make paypal to ng-c@sbcglobal.net, make sure to include your full name, car and years of driving experience.

Let me know if any questions, please come out and support our first event

Event is dead on, can't wait!

Yes I know nieko, the white sohc. Drifting is allowed but remember we will put chicane on the front and back straight so I am not sure if we have enough room to go momentum drift in our underpower KAs.

Rules are the same, 1/2 warm up lap, 2 hot and 1/2 cool down, you can drift instead of grip, in fact, its pretty fun connecting the back section. If we get enough drifters, say 4 of them, i will group them together into one run group. Good thing is it will be a full track instead of Thurs night where they split into 2 courses.

can we spread open the chicane more out? or do you guys prefer it being really tight?

Chicanes are meant to slow down the cars for safety. If you guys prefer, we can use cones instead of tires to avoid scraping your car. As I said earlier, depending on the level of driving, if everybody is consistently driving well, we can change the format and setup to suit the majority needs.

thats my only gripe about the Adams track.. I don't want to damage my car with the tires. It definitely holds me back from getting a decent time. It was my first time there so I guess I have to get used to it.

I slowed down to 25-30ish at both chicanes and went into the hairpin before the first chicane too hot and almost went off the road.. managed a 51.1 on that run.

It varies from different track layout, basically how we set the chicane and whether we use the sweeper or the hairpin for the end of front straight. But the fastest short track is 45s, long track is 50s, I did a 48 in short track and 52 in long track in my bone stock setup s2000. Laptime is not as important as getting the most out of your own car in this track, every car is of its own challenge to drive, whether its high horsepower keeping it on the track or low horsepower keeping its momentum.

    Default Track layout

The white part is the track we run, red X is the chicane, clockwise. Depending on group interest, we can add chicane to the front straight to make sure drivers brake before Turn 1, we will be using the sweeper instead of the hook at the end of front straight.

Since we want to keep this a trackhq event, could you guys please confirm and pay me as soon as possible? That way I dont have to approach other forums or groups to fill up drivers. I'd appreciate that.

No, the white is short track, without the front chicane, it will be below 45s.
