    there must be some sort of gps tracking device on it and maybe even a obdii motoring device to see if you are over revving it.

    Even on the cheapie rental cars I get today, I have to sign a statement agreeing to gps tracking and monitoring of the car. Although I doubt they care about where my rental Ford Focus goes, I imagine they may actually check the data on the Mustangs and other Exotics

    Hertz was one of the first rental car outfits to issue "speeding" penalties when people were speeding in their cars... back in the early 2000s.

    Though I have seen many of their HRZ outfitted Vettes at Willow Springs over the years...

    Rental car has a Boss 302 front splitter. I guess that would be bad news for the company when they rent to people who "accidentally" drive full speed over speedbumps and driveway dips without extra caution.
