Love that color, I saw the red one when they brought it to cars and coffee and it is definitely a looker. I dont know how i feel about that front bumper though.

I like some of it, but not all of it. I think a bit more design restraint is in order. Too much going on everywhere.

This looks like a $300k car. Hard to get a read on the target price but it sounds like something north of $60k

Aside from their cost I never understood why people race them.
But obviously I just dont get it. -fatbillybob

Tend to agree. It's their brand halo car. I'd guess $140k

Transparent hoods are stupid and the always will be. The car is a bit busy looking.

But, overall, I really like it. What I like most about it is that it doesn't look like anything else. Too many cars are being released that look samey (see: Lotus, Honda NSX, Every Lambo in recent memory, and every grocery getter made in any time period). Looking unique, but not ugly, counts for a lot in my eyes.

I don't think it looks that unique. I think it kind of looks like a new vette crossed with a new viper, especially when you take into account it's a concept car. Just look at viper and vette concepts.

That interior will never fly either.

Toyota management: "We want to do a concept for the new Supra."

Designers: "OK, can you give us some direction on what you want?"

Toyota management: "Make it look like you think the next Supra should look."

Designers: "Does that mean we do whatever we want?"

Toyota management: "Whatever you want. Go wild."

    Designers: "Oh, goodeeeeeeeeeee!!"

Some of the details won't work in sheet metal on a production car, specifically the doors. Also, high-priced cars from a manufacturer that makes millions of value leader models can be a tough sell. The VW Phaeton comes to mind.

I'm not poo-pooing it out of hand. It's very cool, but there are more questions to be answered and more development work to be done for sure.

This seems like a busy cross between a Ferrari F12 and the Lexus LF-A. The nose itself is, well, more Tony Kanaan than anything else -- it's an entity unto itself.

But if sounds remotely like an LF-A I want one.

I don't expect it to be price over $85K or be the Halo car if it's badged as a Toyota.

If it's priced $100K then I expect it to be badged as a lexus. However I think Toyota is building a different car under the Lexus brand.

After staring at the side view mirrors for (what I admit to be) way too long, I hate them. I really, really hate them. They've ruined the car for me. lol

And if you didn't notice them prior and it ruins the car for you now too, you're welcome.
    Do you understand?

Not really. The frs is more Subaru than Toyota.

I would love to see an frs with the new Toyota 2.0l turbo engine.
