Default "Top Ten Time Attack Drivers in the World" list

World Time Attack released a list of the Top Ten Time Attack Drivers in the World

Saw this list on FX Motorsports Development facebook page, it DOES seem ridiculous that Billy Johnson is not included

He WAS a Time Attack driver, but not anymore, so far as I know. So why would they use up a spot on their Top 10 for someone who has left the sport?
The deposed former Sheriff of trackHQ . . .

    2006 Porsche 997 Carerra Coupe 6-MT - daily driver
1992 Honda (Acura) NSX 5-MT - classic investment I couldn't resist and occasionally drive
    2004 Honda S2000 AP2 6-MT - track day car
2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR 6-MT - when I need a backseat, 4-doors, or a real trunk, and still want to haul ass . . .

I don't think Billy has left the sport. I wouldn't be surprised to see him doing a Time Attack again if the right venue opened up, and it worked with in his schedule.
Besides, most of the good time attack drivers are also racing in some other form of motorsports. But regardless of that, Billy still holds some TA records and should be on that list.

too bad that list seems to only be drivers who run Open/Modified cars. Be interesting to see that list full of people who drive cars without the massive advantage of power/tires to turn exceptional times. The Mike Bonannis, Jeff Westphals, and Thomas Smiths...

Billy should be on the list for running 1:18.5 at WSIR, if nothing else.

Yes, but a big black Freightliner tractor and a 55' trailer with cool graphics makes you look much faster and snake charms 99.994% of the online magazine editors.

Only my Spring Mountain, Laguna Seca, WSIR, LVMS, Long Beach, and Carolina Motorsports Park times still stand.

Maybe i will get that BW record back ;-)
