    Default Suit Stitching

Shopping for a new race suit and will want to get it embroidered with things like business name, sponsors, etc. Not sure where to send it for that sort of stuff, does anyone have any recommendations? I know Stand 21 offers the service for their own stuff, but I don't think they do other's.

We use a local dry cleaner with a large alterations shop. Buy Nomex thread for them. The Hocotex fabric in the Sparco RS4 suit I bought last year is compromised by embroidering. All of the logos must be silkscreened on.

Aside from their cost I never understood why people race them.
But obviously I just dont get it. -fatbillybob

Check out K1 Speed in Carlsbad (yes the go-cart guys). Products are made overseas but they will do all the logos you want included in the suit price. I had 2 small issues with my suit and they fixed both, no questions. Go to them and let them measure you in case it doesn't fit to your satisfaction.

Thanks for the recommendations. Probably going with an Alpinestars suit, hence the need to find a third party service. Although, they're going to be at PRI so I might run the question by them while I'm there and see if they have an in-house service. Backup plan for now sounds like look around for a local place that I can supply the nomex thread to.
