    Yes, that's Bob Breton; the guy that I affectionately referred to as "the guy in the funny yellow hat and the zebra-striped car" (you can't see the white in the onboard, really, bbut there's big white sections on the nose, tail, and sides).

    His moral of the story was that at some point before you see cord, tires are done, and they can get really bad in that last bit. So he ended up starting well back in the field and got caught up in that deal.

    I shall endeavour not to replicate his airborne techniques, though

    Yeah, I was racing there that weekend in T1. ...A pretty unusual outcome. They were trying to copulate a new SRF!
