I'm watching it, and I'm thinking "This guy is terrible...." and then he stuffs it

Charles, if that's the competition, I think you'd have a pretty good shot at the win

Haha, yeah, he's actually the owner of Spoon in Japan, not the best driver I would say, but the group he raced in was kinda like an everyone-welcome-race, and the cars are unlimited mods too.

If I am racing this year, I will be in the FIA 2000cc super production class, which is way more competitive, and its almost like an one make race as they have lots of regulations. And I will be driving the front running car in the pic, 270whp EP3 Civic Type-R, which my buddy set pole and took 2nd place in 2005.

I hope it will work out for the travelling.

I read in a magazine says him "the day I stop racing will be the day I die"
    I guess that explains that.

Ah, that makes more sense. I always thought Macau was a "big deal", and I was surprised to see that guy driving.

Good luck if you do end up getting the seat.

That's awesome, he is a great person. I didn't know he drove when I met him at Willow Springs last year, but it makes sense now because his driving feedback was pretty in depth and analytical for not being a 'driver' at heart.

Good luck with landing that ride Charles! If you get it, good luck in the race and keep us updated!!! -That track looks badass!

Any car with 2 litre, but the mainstream there is FF, dunno why, but if you were to build a different species to compete, chances are it wont be competitive.

My friends Civic is 270hp at the wheel, thats insane for NA motor. When I rode in it back in 2004, the car handled like a FR car, the tail steps out at corner entry, beastful!

Ichi is a really down to earth guy. Especially for one that has a huge US fan boy base that want him to sign their Hondas. He races in enduro events all over the world. He's done the 25hr of Thill for the last like 5 or 6 years...

Wrecks are embarassing. My last one was caught frame by frame 2 years ago at VIR as the car slide off into a tire barrier. Oddly, it was a spoon car too. :P
