Default Road & Track has spy shots of NSX concept car

Looks pretty good. Seems to have a trace of the Mazda Furai concept to it.

All of the current Acuras are ugly, why should new NSX be any exception?

agreed!! the new acuras all look like space age crap!! im sure their sales are reflecting their obvious lack of style.. and the when i looked into the AWD sedan they offer, i went into serious sticker shock... $74k? or some outrageous amount of money..

and yeah i like the mazda alot more!! theyve even got some more manly looking Miatas lined up...

Mazda has always been > Honda, should not be surprising. Nothing to see here.

Can't agree with that. Mazda has never built anything to compete with NSX, or S2000 for that matter. Probably the best Mazda ever was the FD -- third generation RX-7, but it was a pretty fragile car.

The FD was always a better car than the NSX in its time, at a much more reasonable price. And arguably, a much better car than the S2000 from a sheer performance perspective.
    Do you understand?

This is nonsense. FD > S2000 any time, assuming the FD is running of course. Probably > NSX as well, although I have limited experience with them.

Have you guys ever seen a fast FD at the track (not counting the ones with Corvette engine conversions)? They generate so much heat in that cramped engine compartment, that they just sort of self-destruct. S2000 and NSX don't do anything like that.

Fast enough for you? Ignore the part where it starts smoking terribly towards the end, then sets on fire after.

So, I guess you don't have to blip the throttle on a car with no valves?

looks like it barely completed that lap without blowing up. See all the smoke started coming into the cabin after the sweeper?! If its not the engine, then maybe is from his clutch? haha
BTW, IMO the FD is the most beautiful japanese car from that era.
