Unconscionable behavior by the Porsche driver. He should be banned, at least temporarily, from competition driving.

To play devil's advocate, it does appear Clio driver nudges the rear-pass corner of the Porsche pretty good coming out of the corner. That could've cause a spin, as well.

I'm no W2W guy, but it looked like a pretty nasty squeeze play to me.

To me, it didn't look like the Porsche driver was doing anything deliberate outside of overdriving his car and blocking constantly. I doubt he was watching his mirrors very closely. The Renault's inside move mid-corner might have rattled him -- assuming the Porsche guy didn't have much experience running close like that. Based on the footage, he strikes me as a reckless novice/jackass more than a homicidal psychopath.

Has no one on the internet found the 944 guy to get his view of the incident?

My thoughts, too. Would like to hear his side of the story.

    And I thought that was a 928?

Good call, Moti. It's very similar to the 928 GTS which, IMHO, has the finest rump of all the front engined P cars.

Here is the race series site.
    Results 2014
It was the October 11th race from Cadwell park.
Looking at the results the stewards did not classify the Porsche because of the incident. However, they were back racing at the next event at Snetterton.
I am curious as to what happened to the Porsche as it looks like it was going to impact at least one of the walls yet the next lap video doesn't show any grass ruts or debris on the track.

The Porsche guys (Team Bacon Butty Racing) may have caught some grief as the Team's facebook page went offline October 18th. Google has a cached version.
Looks like the team has been racing in that series since October 2012.
Note that the car used to be orange and at the time of the incident it was white.
Is it the same car with a different livery or did they wreck the car previously and build another?

From my vantage the Porsche driver was trying to run the Clio off track as you can see from the second camera car he needlessly moved over to the right.
Maybe retaliation for the possible contact in the previous turn?
That was reckless due to the track configuration and wet conditions.

Here is a forum thread about the incident. Seems the Porsche driver has a bit of a reputation.

The P car seems to be doing the blocking from the beginning. Being very squirrely. In the corner he did the old Dirt track move. "Nudge the car up to make room". He could have spun him there, but didn't. This move also slowed the exit speed of the P car.

When the P car came over on him. He chose to back out and turn off track. If he would have held his ground and stayed on track. The P car would have been spun into the wall and taken it hard. With, most likely no damage to his own car.

This is where true men are tested. Do you hold your ground and let the other guy take the hit? Turn off track and still go for it. Or back off the throttle and try again later? I think the latter

Two wrongs do make a right.... A right into the wall!

This is the emoticon replay for you>>>>

There was a point in the video where the porsche driver was coming over on the clio. At the point of contact, the Clio had 3 choices. Go off into grass to the right and avoid or take the hit sending him into the wall or just turn into the c*nt that was trying to squeeze him to cause a crash into a wall. If he did option 3, the clio driver would have been able to keep going spinning the porsche c*nt driver into the wall. But he was a gentlemen driver, and did option 2. Option 1 was sketch too.

Seems that the Porshce did steer to the right to cut the Clio off, very undisciplined way of blocking which unfortunately one car crashed..
Am sure I have seen moves like this on pro racing on cars and bikes =<
