    Default Razor electric pit bikes

We have had a lot of folks ogle our new Razor eco-smart pit scooters. Just got this email from razor. Free shipping promo.
We used some giant HD zip ties to fasten a big milk crate to the little luggage rack to improve their utility. Holds helmets, drink bottles, clip boards. pyrometers nicely.
Seem to run an hour or so at WOT, or a full day of normal use. They'll do almost 20mph and pull up hills well. Weigh about 65lbs so easily hoisted into trailer or bed of truck.

Our little razor electric mini motocross bikes are many years old and in disrepair so it was time to upgrade. No affiliation but a friend works there so I get these promo emails.

"use coupon code "SUMMER13" during check-out to save an additional 10% off our already deeply discounted prices."
Free shipping on orders over $99, ends today Wednesday July 31st

I've been kicking around getting one of these but too many items on the list ahead of it. Amazon has a little better price and free shipping at least if you have Prime.

And they have seats, so they're NASA legal.

It's a NASA rule, scooters must have a seat. I was asked to not ride my seatless scooter at a SoCal event.

From the June issue of NASA Speed News:

Q : The CCR addresses modes of transportation around the paddock as follows: “The general rule of thumb is: if you sit on it, you can use it. No seat means no go.” Why is a seat a requirement for paddock transport?

A: There are so many type of transportation these days, with a number of home-built contraptions. One rule won’t cover everything all the time, so we need a general rule of thumb, such as requiring a seat. While accidents do happen on vehicles with seats, they are a lot less common than on vehicles that are ridden standing up.
