Default Is Paul Walker Really Dead?

I saw several Facebook posts that TMZ is reporting he's dead just days after a hoax that he was dead.
I can't get on the TMZ site but other sites have reported what TMZ said - that's journalism today.

What I found said he crashed his Porsche into a tree in Santa Clarita and it bursts into flames.

If he's dead, may he rest in peace. I hope he wasn't driving like an asshat on public roads.

Confirmed on ABC and KTLA and by his publicist on his FB page.

Heartbreaking and tragic. RIP buddy, I still remember meeting him years back at RTA. He was a very humble/genuinely nice guy and he left us too young. Godspeed.

Yes sad news. The driver of the vehicle also did not make it. RIP to them both.

Sounds like he was the passenger and the driver was the owner a local speed shop.

Geez, if he was the passenger, that really sucks. I feel for his family.

I hope the driver wasn't driving like an asshat on public roads.

Regardless of circumstances it is a terrible day for both motorsport and entertainment, not to mention the organization Reach Out Worldwide which Paul was a part of.

Seeing some pics of the crash - pretty awful. The car looks like it might have been a Carrera GT but I haven't seen a report and the car's in bad shape.

Bizarrely it seems like there was a hoax news story a couple of days ago that he had died in a car accident that his team denied.

Yes, did you read my first post? That weirdness was the whole reason for this thread. So bizarre to have this happen right after the hoax.

Friend of mine met him and his GT3 on top of a local mountain. Said he was about as down-to-earth as they come.

It's one thing to die as the driver- another thing entirely as a passenger.

RIP Paul Walker. You were a talented individual and died too soon.

I'm pretty shaken up about his untimely death. He had a pretty big influence in my progression as a car enthusiast in the last 13 years.

This is what I'm doing tonight

^^On a side note, my friend lived in the house where that scene was shot. For the fourth movie, the studio paid them a bunch of money to move out for a month just so they could shoot a scene or two in the same house again. They even rebuilt the garage that didn't really exist.

After hearing the news I was reminiscing about how I wanted an eclipse after watching the fast and the furious the first time. I had the body kit picked out and everything As much flack as the film might've caught later on as being 'ricer' it had an immense impact in car culture, and was a big influence in my own interest in cars. I think you're celebrating Paul's life in the best way. I might just do the same tomorrow.

My wife and I saw the first F&F on our honeymoon. I'm pretty sure it had been called 'Redline' right up until it was shot and they started testing the title.

Very sad to lose someone so young. And sadly, his 15-year-old daughter was at the event.

I'm sure more details will come out about the exact circumstances of the accident, but at this point it just sounds like bad luck.
