Default Nice price on Sparco Sprint V - FIA

Stumbled on this tonight. This seat is usually 380-395 retail. It's 330mm across the hip bolsters. It fits a Miata. Very, very good price for an HPDE/track seat. Fatties need not apply.

You mean big boned need not apply.
I'll have you know that I was comfortable in this seat at 265lbs.

Then again, I'm built like a 40L without the chub.

All in where you wear the weight.

(Heck, I'm at 235 these days and slide between the seat a bit! )

I had one of these as the first racing seat in my Miata when I was running open track learning to drive the Miata before going racing in it, when I got a much better seat. Please realize this is an "entry-level" seat. It does the job, assuming you fit in it, for lowering you closer to the floor in a small car like a Miata, so that your helmet doesn't hit the roof, and it accepts 5- and 6-point harnesses. But I wouldn't go W2W racing in it.

As for fit, I am overweight, but I carry all the extra weight in my belly. My butt is small and my legs fairly short. I fit fine in the Sprint V. Anyone over 6-feet probably won't fit.

$250 is a screaming deal on this seat!
FIA approved and better than an OEM seat if you can fit into it.

Heck, I remember seeing a GTR on Youtube with this thing over on the driver's side.

If it's good enough to replace the stock seat on that monstrous thing...

I currently rock one of these in my miata. I'm 6'1", fairly thin, and fit perfectly, as if the seat was custom made for me. I'd buy a second one for the passenger side but I'm looking to upgrade to a full containment seat.
