The side ducts behind the doors are kind of ugly, but at least they didn't screw up the rest of the car too much and kept it rather close to the 458.
That's a good decision on Ferrari's part, the 458 was / is a beautiful machine, by far their best design in recent years.

I think the 430 was the most beautiful mid-engine V8 Ferrari ever, followed by the 360. The 458 was kinda wonky-looking, and was the first one that was not available with a manual gearbox and clutch pedal. The 488 follows that trend, and is uglier than the 458. I'm really only talking about exterior styling here, and I know, each generation gets faster, and that dynamically, 488 > 458 > 430 > 360 > 355 > 348 > 328 > 308. Nevertheless, I want a 430 6MT . . .

    And the coup de gras:

Wrong!!! Yellow is the best color for all Ferrari sports cars (I exclude from that cars such as the 612 and 412, which look awful in yellow).

As an aside, the coach builder for Ferrari bodies in the mid-1960s, Scaglietti, painted a car yellow. Enzo wanted all the cars to be Ferrari red. He was furious, and said to his coach builder: "You have made a taxi-cab" . . .

Sorry folks the new design just isn't doing anything for me although the Aluminum Body over Aluminum Chassis is the last of its kind, CF monocoques seem to be in every new super car now days. How about save the metal bodies.
If nothing happens and there is no one around why did it not happen?

    Carl -

Nice Ferraris you own. Still, as a non-owner schmuck, I like fly yellow . . .

    And now Captain Slow:

    1. Fusses about door handles and teen age stimuli.
    2. Has largely grown his hair back out.
    3. Produces both yaw and yawn.

So, now that we have seen Dude(ish) Keeanu and Fab(ish) James, it could be time for a real driver. Randy Pobst? Billy J.?

I had no interest in Ferrari growing up as a kid until this came out:

Seeing an F50 in person is still my most jaw dropping moment when it comes to cars (CLK GTR a close second). It looks so different in person than in any picture.
