Default Motor Trend Meatheads Big Time Miss (on S2K)

A Jeep Wrangler, but no Honda S2000?

    A really bad call.

The Miata is present and accounted for. So there's that.

    For sure.

Of course even a broken clock is right a couple of times a day.

Oy vey, that article is a total mess. At least they got the Lotus Elan, Alfa Spyder and XKE right . . .

I would almost be tempted to substitute the Austin Healey 3000 for the Lotus.

The Lotus was a much, much better car, and was so innovative; but the Healey represented the whole concept of the classic roadsterso well .

And as far as "classics" go, the Speedster gets my vote over the Boxster.

I owned one of those! 1962 3000 Mk II with triple carbs and side curtains. That same red color after I had it painted. Bought in in 1978. It was a mess. I restored it. But everything on that car broke. Truth is, it was a good looking piece of crap. The exact opposite of the C7 -- fantastic performance car that GM hit with an ugly stick.

    Where is the MR2 Spyder?
Just kidding. But, seriously, the S2000 is a glaring omission.

I have been tempted several times to sell my S2000 for a Beck Speedster...
