Default A Most Unusual Guinness Record Set with SLS AMG Roadster

Looks like the Top Gear UK test track.

Captured on film which was released today, mercedesbenzuk - YouTube, the SLS AMG Roadster landed the record of 'farthest golf shot to be caught in a moving car, ever'. Professional golfer Jake Shepherd hit a golf ball at 178mph into the Mercedes-Benz supercar, which was moving at a rate of 120mph when it caught the ball 275 meters away from the tee.

It's just part of the job, Richard. Just part of the job.

Truth be told, this one was sent to me by Mercedes-Benz PR.

What I wonder is how many shots they tried until they actually made it. There are a couple of misses shown at the beginning of the video. Heck, if I got 1,000 shots at the basket from mid-court, I could probably put the basketball in the hoop just once by luck, and then post on YouTube like it happened on the first try.

I caught a golfball in the windshield driving along a fairway. It was an incredible hook and I watched it practically the entire length into the glass. I just pulled off on the shoulder and had a laugh before pulling a u turn and heading towards the course's clubhouse. The ranger took me out to the guys I saw and they acknowledged it was them. The GC covered the damaged windshield.
