I want to say it first... "How much does it weigh?"

Does this constitute approved roll over protection for track use? Moti would seriously have to be a wizard to make a roll bar work with this design.

"RF" could strike a few oldsters as a pretty infelicitous designation. Can't link it, but you can look it up in Wikipedia under "ratf***king" (one word).

But seriously, this car looks great.

I don't know how different the attachment for this top looks like under the skin, but hoop wise it appears to me like our RZ bar should *almost* work.
    The rear legs however..

That was my first thought too.

I wonder what the roof is made of. If metal could you remove the motors and weld the panels together? It does look great but I think I'd still prefer a soft top with removable hardtop option. And for f_ck sake, add some color to the palette.

I love the silhouette, not the concept. The complicated mechanism and engineering don't justify the function or the expense. A hardtop is low-laying fruit, where is that? This is somewhere in between the "we don't have the budget for sheetmetal tooling on a fixed roof" and "we thought the Del Sol was a great car".

I also wish they would just make it a fixed roof, but I imagine the engineers don't like that idea because it probably makes a lot of their work redundant. I think the chassis was designed to be stiff enough as a roadster, so a fixed roof version wouldn't have the usual benefits of being light and stiff.

I've read somewhere that the RF weight gain is 78 Lbs.
So while not insignificant, also pretty light for what it is.

I'm not a big fan, it'll be only the very last solution if all else fails.
