You have to start the wave of demand somewhere. I'm an old dude just like you. We have gay marriage sweeping the country and vending machine pot in colorado in our lifetimes. We have the Miata saving clubracing. Anything is possible. In fact add 50 more horsepower to my Miata coupe wishlist!

Mazda sure is putting on a show for the ND reveal. Hopefully it's not all flash without any flavor.

Duran Duran seems to be an appropriate music choice given the target audience

    Too true, dude . . .

Duran Duran? Big miss on Mazda's part; but, then again, Lou Reed just passed on:

No, you're kidding . . . It wasn't "just" it was last October. I was a big fan for about well over 40 years and saw him twice live. Anyone who thinks "Walk on the Wild Side" is anywhere near one of Lou Reed's greatest songs is like those who think the only song T. Rex ever recorded was "Get it On (Bang a Gong)" -- sheeeeshshsh

I take it then that your favorite three performers are:
    1. Lou Reed
    2. T. Rex
    3. Duran Duran

Sheesh indeed. Lou, Nico, and the Velvet Underground, the Chelsea Hotel, iconic New York artists.

    Nico, iconic hip chick:

Another of Lou's - and a real study in contrasts:

. . . and Lou and the Velvet Underground's spikey little ditty for for Keith Richard:

But wait! What about the ND coupe, for crying out loud!
