Default McClaren P1 vs 2015 Z06 at COTA

Two rocket ships at play. The P1 is one fast car. It is amazing how fast the P1 gaps the Corvette on the straights. It is really cool to see the wing working on the P1.

Very cool! Thanks for the video. You could tell that the P1 driver could drive, but was clearly nervous about binning it on the curves! He was going sub-ZO6 speeds in the corners!

The disparity in straight line performance is staggering. As obvious as it is on paper, seeing it is far more impressive.

I found the difference in acceleration jarring as well. I would have expected there to be diminishing returns when comparing 650 to 900 hp, but the only thing diminishing is the clarity of the p1 as it rolls off into the distance.

P1 driver is tippy-toeing through the corners, and blasting down the straightaways. He is terrified of passing in a corner. Had he done so, he would have lost the C7Z06 after about a minute into the video.
