    Default Laguna lodging

Going to LS for the first time with SV on June 25.

Where do people stay close by that has good trailer parking and access?

The lodging is either in Monterey or Salinas, which are about the same distance from the track in opposite directions. Generally speaking, Monterey is nicer and Salinas is cheaper. I stayed at the Days Inn in Salinas last time. I don't trailer my car, so I can't advise you on that.

You might want to check with SV, they usually have a host hotel for their events.

Embassy Suites is good and closest (they've hosted last 2 big Miata meets), big parking lot, rate is ~$100 - $150. free breakfast (pretty good).
if you are on budget, stay next door at Holiday Inn Express. parking lot is connected

Check out seaside, which is where Embassy Suites is. Also the Holiday Inn Express next door is a good one.

We'll see you there, we are running our Lotus Cup event that same weekend. I'll be driving a new Lotus racecar that Friday if it arrives on time for a shakedown..

    Thanks for the tips.

Will be bringing my S2000 powered Datsun 510 to start sorting it out :-)

My neighbor is going in his Super charged yellow Elise with a big roll bar that sticks out the top. He's 6'5" and drives an Elise.

    Robbie,
is this an Evora race car? There's a slight chance I'll have my Elise there if we can get it ready.

Hey Mike - I can't spill the beans yet But it may be...

Hope you can join us for Laguna, let me know if I can help at all. Lotus Cup USA would be a great place to run the Elise at Laguna. Lots of Lotus oriented stuff going on that weekend.

    Hi Robbie,
That would be something to see. Do you know whether there will be any higher-level Lotus USA reps at the event?
