Default Just a little wet at Buttonwillow

I don't think I've ever seen Buttonwillow so wet. I'll bet the Mazda Shootout was interesting today. I'm betting on Joey Jordan. Fingers crossed.

Last time I ran there in the rain, I qualified P1. All the high powered cars were all over the place. Unfortunately, when it came time for the Points race, the track had dried out...

I was right behind you to the right, P4. I remember that weekend, we had 23 cars in the race. Yes, it dried out for the final and was fun holding off the high HP cars for 3 corners.

I was out there briefly. There was only one off-track excursion in the morning. I had to leave at 12:30 to get back home. I think the selection process is still ongoing.

The winner will be announced tomorrow, via conference call to the competitors. Joey told me via phone that it was very intense and 6 of the 8 drivers went off course in the process, Luckily he was not one of them. It will be a long wait for Joey, not sure how he is going to concentrate at school today or in the morning. He feels like he performed well, but like any "judged" thing it can be subjective. Hoping for the best!
