Default I need 10 driving coaches in exchange for a free track day at ACS

The event is on Friday, October 3rd.

You will get to run free in either Intermediate or Advanced group.
    1. I need you to sit in the right seat with one or two drivers from two beginner groups for two or three sessions that day
    2. Your main job is to keep the drivers safe from over-driving their car, etc.
    3. Help them find their brake points, turn-in, apex and track out.
    4. Other driving tips as identified
    5. Sit with them for a few minutes after the session and answer questions

They will have a head driving instructor lecturing in the morning through the afternoon who will cover all the other aspects of a track day and driving instruction. Your main responsibility is the bullet list above.

If you are interested and you can make it, e-mail oli at Alvaka.net

Yes. These are cars of my clients and other IT related vendors we have as guests. I anticipate nearly all the cars to be stock and on street tires. Most of these drivers it is there first time on track.

As I've never driven ACS... I'm probably not the best person for this gig... but good luck filling the seats!

    Infield only or with Roval?

    I was there last weekend.

    I will do it.

Can I pit in a garage?

This is the ROval, garages are all ours and open. I expect extra garages to be available, but candidly, if not, we need to give the "Guests of the Day" the first shot at the garages.

Crap! I'd do it except for the concussion I suffered last month in an ugly bicycle accident on the street. My next bike helmet will be a full face Bell mountain bike helmet, if not my Simpson Snell.

I would love to chip in, Oli, but Oct. 3 is the day I leave for NASA's last race at Buttonwillow. Hopefully, I can do it next time. I'd really like to check out one of your events.

Catch 22, please write to me at the e-mail in the first post.

Bernard, I am sorry you can't make it this year. It is truly one of the finest track-day experiences for beginners and more experienced drivers alike.

I came out and did this last year, Oli puts on a fantastic event and it's very cool to introduce this world to these guys who in many cases never imagined they could drive their car on a real racetrack. I would be doing this again this year if my schedule permitted!

I would do it if I lived closer. That sounds like a lot of fun for your guests.

Thanks guys. I have gotten a few responses from coaches who can attend. A few more and our guests will be in good stead.
