Hmmm, if you mounted the phone in the dash what would you use the text messaging for?
If nothing happens and there is no one around why did it not happen?

    Oli-

No problem- We are hear to help. I would say 95% of the time its a install issue that hurts the voice quality and/or range on racing radios. Easy to fix.

Did you watch this video? The headsets are really popular in the air boat industry and talk about a LOUD working environment

    Very cool stuff!

I should put my wife to work to come up with a telecom solution for this at larger tracks around here. Sorta like renting BW to run a radio/phone setup in these rural locations where elevations makes cellular reception is spotty. Could be another revenue stream for the tracks.
    Yer pal,

    Hey William

Some teams use repeaters that are around the track but most just post spotters at the areas they need coverage.

Most Pro-teams have made the jump to digital radios. Better range and clarity PLUS 1 repeater can have 2 teams use the same freq. Very cool feature which can only be use with digital radios.

Just old fashion plug and play but with digital radios vs. analog.
