Default hoosier h2o in dry condition

have a lead some some ridiculously cheap rain tires. Chances of me attending a rainy track day is slim. would it be crazy if I used these rain tires in dry conditions? will be mounted on 15x9 for my miata. thanks

    Yup.

Shaved they are super fast but overheat in about one lap. Full tread they'll be a squirmy overheating mess. Sad waste to run a set of H2O's in the dry. I'll trade you some good race tires for your H2o's if they aren't torn up already.

Aside from their cost I never understood why people race them.
But obviously I just dont get it. -fatbillybob
