Default Here is a Puzzle for ya.

Three people check into a hotel. They pay $30 to the manager and go to their room. The manager suddenly remembers that the room rate is $25 and gives $5 to the bellboy to return to the people. On the way to the room the bellboy reasons that $5 would be difficult to share among three people so he pockets $2 and gives $1 to each person. Now each person paid $10 and got back $1. So they paid $9 each, totaling $27. The bellboy has $2, totaling $29. Where is the missing $1?

Well, if the room rate was $25, each person was supposed to pay $8.33333333, so if the bell boy gives each of them back $1, it would be a lump sum ($8.3333 contribution + $1 credit) of $9.33333 each, or $8.33333*3person + $1*3person= $9.33333333333*3= $28 , and $28 + the $2 that the bellboy took is equal to $30...

The $2 that the bellboy kept needs to factor into what they paid for the room. In total they paid $27 for the rrom because the bellboy kept 2. 27/3=9.

$9 each plus the $1 they each get back =$10 each. Works just fine.

this puzzle was emailed to me. I don't have the answer. Heres how I answered it. The logic is pretty simple. I think the trick part is trying to explain it.

"the room is actually $28. Split by three = $9.333333333 per person.
Not $27 / $9.00 each person for the room like you mentioned."

When do you think they will convert those horse racing tracks to Super Speedway with infield. ppl can just place bets on cars twice a week instead. Horses are just so boring.

See, you guys in Hong Kong had those great mind puzzles going up. Exercise the mind and all of that stuff. This is what us US of A kids had growing up. Build the hand-eye coordination.

I just got 82,500 points my first time playing this one in a while.

Speaking of a proper race track in Hong Kong, its almost hopeless...I heard from my freinds that a while back they had like a driftland built from a desserted area in the New Territories...then they invited some D1 drivers to perform an exhibition this one time and the government even brought cops and shut down the whole thing permanently on the day of the event. On top of that, the government always set up some anti illegal racing operations and I got busted this one time that i went back to HK to visit.... they almost put me in jail and i just barely made it back here to the US... I honestly think there are many talented drivers in Hong Kong, they just dont get the chance to see the track or to do it legally..sad

Opps...my bad. I forgot to tell you guys to turn up the volume on your computer when you're going through the maze. Also, after completing the third or fourth level, you'll get to check out a hot chick and hear what she has to say.
