Really? Maybe you need to finish his story.

This is a really wealthy dude who's still humble.

When I was at Michelin Motorsports, I may have found 1 in 20 guys with the down to earth attitude this guy's exhibiting and you know what-you hold on to that.

I'd love to meet him-even w/o the toys.

    Me thinks Gian's right- someone's a little jealous!LOL!

Envious of his money, sure. But I think he's a bozo, personally.

I thought so too for the first few minutes. But watching the whole vid changed my mind. I admire how he took on and beat the a-holes who always oppose development on private property. I also agree with his statement, "it doesn't matter how many motorcycles you have, you only have one ass". I've always thought the same thing when I hear people *****ing about how somebody owns too many vehicles.

Well that's part of it. "I'm an average looking middle-aged man with a lot of money, a big house, a private road course, and lots of cars and motorcycles. Oh, by the way, I have this hot young wife. It's not like she married me for money or anything . . . She'd love me if I was a poor ugly moron."

I'm jealous. When I was growing up in PA I dreamed of building my own road course too. I'm guessing in PA that place wouldn't cost too much, nothing like it would cost out here in CA anyway. Of course with the crappy weather in PA, you don't get as many days a year to enjoy it but you could definitely work on racing in the rain.

There would be a lot more wear and tear on the surface for the same reason though. I think a track like that would be a possibility in riverside county. LIke in the Hemet/San Jacino area or in Temecula. There is a lot of room out in those areas, and lots of wide open cheap land, at the cost of being in the middle of nowhere desert.

I like how his wife gets one model photo in the video and clearly no cuntribution to the racing culture of the story other than "trophy wife". I'm on the fence, depending on how this video was directed he might be a total tool or a pretty cool guy. Either way, I really wouldn't mind having all that property!

Agreed. He just seems to be too sold on himself to make me jealous.

Spending money (that his father probably earned) does not require either a lot brains or a lot of character.

I think that's a little bit harsh. Keep in mind these guys came to his house to make a video about him, his personal track, garage full of cars. . . it would be difficult to come off as humble in that situation.

    Very good point, but still:

    Many men can withstand hardship.
To test a man's character, give him power (or celebrity*).
